WELCOME ADDRESS FOR THE RELAUNCH OF SKINTERVENTION
Esteemed Guests, Distinguished Partners, and Dedicated Team Members,
It is with immense joy and gratitude that I welcome you all to this significant occasion—the relaunch of Skintervention. Today marks not just a revival but a renewed commitment to our mission: bridging the gap between skin health and public healthcare, ensuring that underserved communities, especially children, receive the education, resources, and safe solutions they deserve.

Over the past two years, while our activities may have paused, our purpose has remained steadfast. We have witnessed firsthand how preventable and treatable skin conditions continue to affect the well-being, confidence, and quality of life of so many in our communities. The need for accessible, affordable, and effective skincare solutions has never been greater, and we are here today to reaffirm our dedication to addressing this gap.

As we relaunch, we do so with renewed energy, innovative strategies, and a deeper commitment to collaboration especially with our “Feed a child skin” initiative. We recognize that achieving sustainable impact requires collective effort—from healthcare professionals, policymakers, community leaders, and each one of you present here today. Together, we will strengthen education, expand access to skincare resources, and ensure that no child or individual is left behind due to preventable skin health issues.

I extend my deepest appreciation to everyone who has supported this journey—our dedicated volunteers, partners, and all those who believe in the power of healthy skin as a fundamental part of public health. Your unwavering support and commitment make this mission possible. Today, we celebrate a new beginning. A future where skincare is not a luxury but a basic right. A future where awareness leads to prevention, and prevention leads to healthier, happier lives.

Thank you all for being here, for believing in this cause, and for joining hands as we move forward together. Welcome once again to the relaunch of Skintervention —where skin health meets community care.

Thank you.

Mrs. Kofoworola Martins
